Sunday Service Times
When we gather each week in north Austin, and what happens at each gathering.
Sunday mornings
- 9:00 am, Prayer time. A quiet half hour of prayer before the morning begins. Come if you can; no one will notice if you can’t.
- 9:30 am, Bible classes. Adults meet for a combined discussion class in the youth room. Classes for kids and youth meet at the same time.
- 10:30 am, Coffee and fellowship. Coffee and donuts in the foyer. The easiest fifteen minutes of the week to meet people.
- 10:45 am, Worship. Singing, Scripture, prayer, the Lord’s Table, and a sermon of about 25 minutes. Usually done by noon. King’s Kids meets during the sermon for kindergarten and under.
Wednesday evenings
- 7:00 pm, Mid-week gathering. Announcements and prayer requests, a short devotional and song, then classes from 7:20 to 8:00: group discussion for adults, an elementary class for kids, and youth group.
Through the month
- 4th Sunday, noon. Common meal (a church luncheon) right after worship. Guests are our favorite people to feed.
- 4th Sunday evening. Brown-bag dinners and softball at Springwoods Park, weather permitting.
- 5th Sunday evening. Singing and special-music night.
